- (Historical) A travelling merchant who journeyed from place to place selling small wares such as laces, treasures, and trinkets. Often a colourful and familiar figure in rural communities, the Pedlar was a storyteller, supplier, and connection to the wider world.
Formerly known as Prodigy Downunder, The Roving Pedlar is proudly Australian-owned and operated by Jess and Andrew Roberts.
Originally founded in 2015 by Kerrie and Andrew, Prodigy quickly became one of Australia's most trusted and recognised names in Irish dance supplies. We are incredibly grateful to continue the legacy they built - one grounded in quality, reliability, and a deep care for the Irish dancing community.
As passionate dancers with over 50 years combined experience, we've lived every stage of the journey - from first feis to World stage. We understand the dedication it takes, and we're here to support dancers and families every step of the way.
